Movement is our first form of communication with the world. Through a therapeutic relationship with our certified Dance/Movement Therapist, individuals can explore how they feel as well as connect with themselves and others around them. Our Dance & Movement Therapy sessions integrate movement, active/imaginative play, sensory props, music and rhythm in an engaging process to cater to people of all abilities. Rather than teaching a dance form, creative movement explorations cultivate body awareness, facilitate emotional/behavioural regulation, develop independence as well as enhance social skills and self-esteem.
